SolKar

For Indian taxpayers · ITR Schedule VDA

Your Solana wallet, turned into a crypto tax report.

Paste a wallet address. SolKar reads its on-chain history, values every trade in rupees, matches your oldest coins first (FIFO) and fills in the Schedule VDA rows for your return. Everything runs in your browser. Your wallet data never leaves your device.

Advanced: RPC endpoint

The free public Solana RPC is heavily rate-limited, so large wallets can take minutes. A free Helius key makes it about 10× faster. The key stays in your browser.

How SolKar computes your tax

1 · Read the chain

Every successful transaction for the wallet is fetched over Solana RPC. SolKar nets out network fees, token-account rent and SOL wrapping, leaving what you actually gave and received.

2 · Value in rupees

Stablecoins are valued at $1, and major tokens at the Binance hourly price. In a crypto-to-crypto trade, the sale value is what you received, so any token can be valued from the other side of the trade. USD is converted at that day's reference rate.

3 · Apply Section 115BBH

Your oldest coins are matched first (FIFO). Only the cost of acquisition is deducted, and fees aren't. Gains are taxed at 30% plus 4% cess. A loss on one transfer can't reduce a gain on another, and can't be carried forward.

4 · File

Download the CSV in Schedule VDA column order. Copy it into ITR-2 or ITR-3, or hand it to your CA together with the detailed CSV, which links every row to its transaction.

Not tax advice. SolKar is an open-source estimation tool. Check the results, especially transfers, tokens without a price and anything acquired outside this wallet, with a chartered accountant before filing. TDS under Section 194S is generally not deducted on decentralised exchanges, so ask your CA about any obligations.
